The main objective of this article is to introduce you to the amazing elementary teacher we have for you here at Brainfood Academy. Although our school is brand new, our teachers have years of experience. They want to share that experience with your children. From Kindergarten to 5th grade, our teacher will draw your child into a world of learning unlike anything they have every experienced. Meet Our Elementary Teachers
As you will see, our teachers span all grades and subjects. However, each teacher has decided which subject and grade they are best equipped to teach our incoming students. Some of our teachers are so gifted it was very difficult for them to choose only one class. As a result, they didn’t choose. Which is all good for our students. Now, they will have the ability to learn from their favorite teacher in various subjects.

As we get our Brainfood Academy up and going, all our wonderful teachers will be working with our kindergarten students. Our classes will encompass any child between the ages of 3 to 5. Wendy Naruse – 1st grade Math
Ms. Wendy is a fun and energic teacher who lives in Hawaii. Her culture and belief in education will be an asset you student will be benefit from. With the help of her sidekick Felix, she will take you on an adventure with math that you cannot believe. Ms. Wendy and Felix teaches you how math surrounds you. With worksheets, videos and visual aids, you will discover a whole new world with numbers. No longer let the fear of learning math hound your child. Ms. Wendy will open the doors for them. This bubbly and fun loving lady is a “hands” on kind of teacher. She talks with her hands!!! SO much fun to watch her teach and educate our students. She will be guiding our children on multiple platforms. From Language arts to math and Science. Ms. Jay will make sure that you child leaves no stone unturned in their education status with her. Matthew Janecek: 2nd – 5th grade Histories
Want to bring discussion back into the classroom with history? Then you want Mr. Matt for the job. He will enlighten, enthrall and enrapture the student in all things history. He is bringing back intellectual conversation and discussion. You cannot know the future until you understand the past and how it relates to the present. That is his quote and I totally agree. Dawn Tulini: 1st – 4th grade Language Arts
The Dawn of a new era is at hand with Language arts. Ms. Dawn will challenge your child in all things related to language arts. From reading, spelling, arts, crafts and writing. By building their confidence in creating stories within their own foundations, Ms. Dawn will guide your student on an adventure of a lifetime in the art of language arts. Through fine education and refined teaching, your child will be a wiz in spelling, the ability to write well and basically carry on in-depth and meaningful conversation. Mary George – 5th grade Math
Mary, Mary is not so contrary when it comes to math. With fun loving skill, Ms Mary will take you on an adventure with math. She shows you how math is in everything. All around you math abounds. In her class, you will experience the joys of learning numbers, equations and sentences relative to numbers. Numbers need not be scary!! Ms. Mary’s adventure in learning with math will help you overcome any adversity you have to learning math. Meet Dr. Hawkins
As a retired educator and entrepreneur, the quote by Fredrick Douglas, “ It is easier to build strong children than repair broken adults” has resonated for many years in the mind of Cassandra Mmabatho Hawkins. With over 29 years of experience in education, teaching Language Arts, and 11 years of mission’s work, Dr. Cassandra Hawkins was recognized as a VIP member in 2020 by P.O.W.E.R (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized). Using her degrees in Speech, Theatre and Communications allow children to express themselves and stimulates their creativity to problem solve. Cassandra Mmabatho Hawkins, Doctor of Ministry, enjoys teaching bible stories used to teach character development and help children grow spiritually. In addition to all she does, she is most excited about directing stage plays and musicals that teach children, teens, and young adults how to make best choices.

Ms Tulini: Teachers at Brainfood Academy
I am a Special Education and General Education Teacher. Having taught 1st and 2nd grades in Special Education. As well as teaching Middle School Grades 4 and 5 in the school. I taught 9th and 10th Supplemental to support those who needed extra help. During the Pandemic I taught online with Google Classroom breakout rooms. I retired in June of 2022 from a school with the low income families. The love teaching all grades is something I love to do. Here at Brainfood Academy, I will be teaching 1-5 and HS Language Arts and Social Studies. I will also be teaching 3 and 4 SS and Science. If needed I will also be teaching 1-4 Math.

I am Mr. Cantu and I am here to show the world of music. Music theory will show you where you can find music is everyday life. Music is all around you if you know where to look. And how to recognize it. Music theory is just the beginning of all that music encompasses.
My goal here at Brainfood Academy is to educate students and create engaging lessons in music. The main focus will be to instruct in learning how to read musical chords. I also will have a separate class for instruction in playing the guitar. By using my experience and knowledge in music, the student will be able to become skillfully proficient in the art of music.
As the creator and founder of Mariachi bands as a grade and credit in the State of Texas with my colleagues, I hope to show the love of music to my students of all ages.
Get Into Physic and Astronomy with Professor Jackson;
Hi, I’m Francine, and I will be introducing you to the world of physics. I am a professional astronomy educator, both teaching all ages and working in many different planetariums. My goal will be to show you that science isn’t just a “class,” that it is a part of everything you do. Come, open your eyes, and enjoy the world of everyday science.

I am a Graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Elementary Education and minor in science. The majority of my experience is as a specialized teacher in the areas of reading and math at the elementary level. I love to be able to help students develop a love of reading and math! I will be teaching first graders reading and math skills. In reading I will cover: Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Fluency, Handwriting, Grammar and Punctuation. Math is where we will learn: Counting and Cardinality, Operations and Algebraic Thinking, Number and Operations in Base Ten, Measurement and Data, and Geometry. In Fourth grade, I will be teaching math. Some of those skills include: Numbers/Operations in Base Ten, Operations & Algebraic Thinking, Numbers/Operations – Fractions and Decimals, Measurement and Data, Geometry, and Mathematical Reasoning and Problem Solving. According to Mr Janecek, we need to learn our past. Why? In order to understand our present. As a result, we can plan our future. Contrary to popular consensus, history is not up for debate. It is what it is. It happened. We cannot change it or dispute it. However, we can discuss it. Learn from it and educate ourselves on the mistakes as well as accomplishment of our past.
It will also help us understand why things are happening today. Mr Janecek will engage our students in open conversation and learning on the past and present history. From the Renaissance to current events. Using facts and not opinions, he will lead our students in their growing development of finding their own voice. As a result of learning to discern fact from opinion, they can better make decision for themselves. Learning how to think for themselves as well as reason from fact given, will make our student a better person. Moreover, they will be a vital influence in our ever changing world.

I talk with my hands!!! I love to teach and explore the world of learning. Although I have a special need to help me with my breathing, I hope to show my students that they are special too. With sign language and interactive teaching, I hope to show my students that there is the ability to learn in all things. In my class, my students will learn the joy and art of language. I received special education teacher training at University of Hawaii from 2018 to 2020 -worked with elementary grade students since 2017 -also obtained 3 years of tutoring experience in basic math and language arts -also taught Conversational Cantonese to Elementary grade children for 3 years. -has 3 years of teaching experience using the online zoom platform Fun facts about me.

As we have seen through COVID-19 pandemic, it is possible to education our children through alternative means other than the standard in-school classroom. However, the logistics of this to spread through the United States and other countries has been a challenge. But we have finally figured it out.
So, if you are tired of having such a strict schedule or want to do something extraordinary with your student base, use your own personality and reach more students that you can image and get paid your worth, then we need you!!!
How it works: Online Education Alternative
This is a unique program designed to not only allow students a safer, more vibrant and exciting way to learn but to also allow the teacher to express their enjoyment of teaching. With this unique platform, the teach can actually education student from all over the world. Not only that, they will be able to set their own earning potential. This is explained in the Pay Structure of the below.
Since the pandemic, more states have allocated funds for homeschooling. Below is a link to check to see if your state has these funds available. This is a great marketing tool to help you establish your student base. Once you are approved into the program, you will then get access to your backoffice through the FMS Vortex system. There you will have your own zoom link as well as training on how to set up your own YouTube channel.
On your YouTube channel, you will introduce yourself, what grades and subjects you will be teaching as well as your own unique style and technique to teach those subjects. Although we still want good, quality education, we want excitement, uniqueness as well as enthusiasm in presenting your subject matter to the student. Pay Structure for Online Teachers
As with any program or job, you want to know what your pay will be. This program is no different. Since you will be an Independent Contractor, your pay is exceptional and is essentially determined by you. You can make as much as your time will allow. With each class maxing out at 500 students and your ability to teach multiple grades and subjects, your pay is only hindered by your ability to draw students to your platforms.
Also, with our FMS vortex platform, you will also gain access to other programs that you can market. Not only will you be able to access the teaching platform and promote it to friends, family and advertise yourself, but in the FMS Vortex, you will have access to those inside programs as well. The choice is really up to you. As you will be an independent contractor, your earning potential in this program is virtually limitless.
Below you will see how the pay structure is set up the online teachers program:
- When the Student Accesses a Class, $10 is Credited to the Wallet of the Teacher per student per call per month. So if they are teaching 100 students in a session, it is $1000 for that Session for the month. 500 would be $5000.00. And so on. Max we allow is 500. More need to go to a different Class or Teacher. By Design.
- No Break in pay. Pay structure set up on a 12-month pay cycle.
- Students permitted to Attend up to 5 Classes Daily Grades 1 through 8.
- Students Permitted to Attend up to 6 Classes Daily Grades 9 thru 12
- Pay structure will be setup in the FMS vortex system. Your zoom classroom fees will be covered upon signup. training for YouTube will be given as well as instruction on the curriculum material.
- As part of the FMS vortex platform, you can also earn more money by promoting the goods and serves offered in this program as well. You have the potential to build a huge customer base or even partnerships and teams for not only in the United States but throughout the world.
Criteria and Requirements For Application:
As we want our online education alternative to be exceptional and different from any other platform, we want to make sure that our instructors, teachers and tutors are also exceptional. We want loving, compassionate, exciting, enthusiastic as well as educated teachers in our program. No couch potatoes or others out just looking to make a paycheck.
The way this program is setup, if you are not exceptional, you will not make the money you are looking for. Remember, your attraction is what will draw the students to you. Although we will have marketing to get the student base into the program, whether they select you as the teacher is strictly in your hands. Remember, you get paid per student. Not per class.
Here is the Criteria we are looking for in our online teachers:
- Need a 4-year degree in teaching
- Experience in the teaching field. College graduates and retired teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Must really love to teach and have something to offer outside the ordinary. Not looking for someone to just earn a check.
- You will need to join the FMS Vortex, through DTCA. This is the payment structure that will be used.
- You will need to create a YouTube channel and video showcasing your unique qualification, talent and introduce yourself to your potential students and their families. (Training and instruction will be provided)
- Dedication and commitment to the program
- Willingness to be above reproach and to set a higher standard in education from the traditional school systems.
Cost and fees:
As we are not getting government funding to open our school, we ask that the teachers help offset the cost. Although we will gain most of the income from the student enrollment fees to pay teacher pay, some of the technical and support fees will need to covered by the teacher. Look at it like operation costs. As an IC status teacher, these fees can be tax dectubtible.
So, let’s look at the fees involved.
- $50 – Annual enrollment: As a private school we report all staff for taxation purposes and operational function. Because you will be part of Brainfood Academy, this is your own private yearly access to operate within the confines of our program.
- $59.95 – Monthly access fee. Due to the fac that we are building our own foundation for curriculum, resources, and student base, we need a strong security system. As a result, we have purchase the aid of some the most skilled IT gurus in the market. Partnering with ZOOM platform, they have combined their knowledge to build a platform for Brainfood Academy second to noon. If you are familiar with technology and security, it is not cheap. In order to help keep the cost of admission low, we ask the teacher to help offset this cost by supporting with a monthly access fee.
This access fee will cover:
- you own personal zoom account.
- Your back office.
- Resource material.
- Security for your student base.
- Access to your payroll dashboard.
- Brainfood Academy Curriculum.
- As well as any new information released throughout the years exclusive to Brainfood Academy.

As a result, any student who leaves our Academy is required to show updated vaccination and immunization records.
